WHERE I STAND OUT
Conducted in-class simulated job interviews by assuming the role of the interviewer, with the Students On-Campus Achieving Results (SOAR) as the interviewee's.
- Interviewed students while taking notes for observation and final evaluation purposes.
- After each interview, the students would then be coached by us and given constructive criticism.
Objective:
- Prepare the SOAR high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for competitive employment by providing them with immediate in-person mentorship and critical feedback on how they could further improve their interviewing skills while encouraging and empowering them.
- Put in practice and exhibit the Human Resources skills of the BUS-422 class by allowing us to lead live interviews and analyze potential job candidates in real time.
